Are tattoos a health risk?
Here is an interesting article from medpage today. The article goes so far as to ask if tattoos are a dangerous fad.
“Dr. Haley speaks in almost apocalyptic terms of a tidal wave of HCV that is poised to swamp the nation, an epidemic that is “going to dwarf” HIV/AIDS in terms of morbidity and mortality.”
The Center For Disease Control says otherwise.

I hope this article makes the news. If people believed tattoos could kill you their appeal would increase ten fold and I’d be a very rich man.

I agree with this guy, getting a tattoo is silly, pointless, and painful. But thats why they look so cool.
