Man wins $150k from employeers over religious tattoos
This one is from Business and Legal Reports.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. has agreed to pay $150,000 to settle a religious-discrimination lawsuit alleging the company refused to offer an accommodation to an employee who had religious inscriptions in the form of tattoos on his wrists.
The employee was a member of an ancient Egyptian religion know as the Kemetic Orthodox Faith. He had Kemetic tattoos on his hands & he was required not to hide him. His employer said otherwise and in the process violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
To learn more about the Kemetic Orthadoxy visit kemet.org. Interestingly we could not find anything about tattoos at this site.
If you are interested in your legal rights concerning tattoos and the workplace I recommend that you read this page at gcglaw: Tattoos & Body Piercing: Avoiding Employment Discrimination Claims.
A few notable points: Workplace requirements for tattoos and body piercing can not be different for males and females. If you are a member of the KKK you probably won’t get away with claiming religious descrimination.

Religions suck dudes.
They all are a power trick for controlling the masses and avoiding taxes.
Some of the only real things is the pentagram.
Another is the “Global entity” which is very well understanded and described at Castanenda’s writtings.
I bellieve in my own mind and in the Global Entity which I call “Father Spirit” and in the Stars from where we take the power to search and look for new dimensions and new ideas.

Throughout history, many religions incorporated tattoos for a myriad of reasons. Whether it is to ward off negative spirits or to show familia relationships….tattoos are an intregal part of one’s culture, and/or religion.
I think that there are stereotypes that are erroneous, and if it takes going to court to have the ability to have the tattoos, then so be it.
