New York man dies after getting tattoo

A Brooklyn father getting a tattoo called “Last Rites” inked into his flesh passed out and crashed headfirst into a glass counter yesterday, killing himself, police and witnesses said. Joaquin Laguer, 27, nearly was decapitated during the horrific accident inside Buzz Tattoo, an unlicensed parlor in East Williamsburg.

Thats odd. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of somebody passing out in a tattoo shop and dying after passing out into a glass counter.

damn. could u imagine, spending all that money on a tattoo and not even able to enjoy it? not only does that blow, but how sad for his kids.. but i guess it was just his time.. did he eat b4?

that seems all to wierd, but who knows, messed up shit happens to all of us, even if it doesnt make sense. my sympathy to the fam, and r.i.p bro!

my artist said he had a girl pass out 5 times in a row. but seriously, that is terrible! I remember feeling faint after I had mine done, but I ate and drank orange juice and felt a million times better, people need to be more careful about that, tattoo artists should really suggest eating something before and after getting it done to keep your blood sugar levels up.

That sucks a lot! I Think one common reason this happens to people is because they try to take it all at once, and they are not prepaired like they should be. Thats just an oppinion though. Well out of all information I got about getting Tattos when I got my first one is that you have to be well rested and refreshed the day you get it. Also not to take more than you can handel at once, you could always come back!

I also just want to add that knowing he wasn’t even able to enjoy the Tattoo is a really crapy feeling! Well he did not go down with out a lesson, to help prevent stuff like this in the future!!!
